In the name of God, the All Gracious, the All Merciful

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

4783 2092 336 284 1	وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَى By the star when it descends.
4784 2093 337 285 1232 2	مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَى Your friend is neither astray nor is he misled.
4785 2094 338 286 1233 3	وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى And he does not speak according to his desire.
4786 2095 339 287 4	إِنْ هُوَ إِلا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى It is only an inspiration that was inspired.
4787 2096 340 288 1234 5	عَلَّمَهُ شَدِيدُ الْقُوَى The Ultimate Power taught him.
4788 2097 341 289 6	ذُو مِرَّةٍ فَاسْتَوَى Possessor of Vision, absolutely equitable.
4789 2098 342 290 1235 7	وَهُوَ بِالأفُقِ الأعْلَى While he was in the highest horizon-
4790 2099 343 291 8	ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّى -He then moved down and came closer,
4791 2100 344 292 9	فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَى Then He came as near as possible.
4792 2101 345 293 10	فَأَوْحَى إِلَى عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَى He then inspired to His servant what was to be inspired.
4793 2102 346 294 1236 11	مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى The mind did not make up what he saw.
4794 2103 347 295 12	أَفَتُمَارُونَهُ عَلَى مَا يَرَى Are you then doubtful what he saw?
4795 2104 348 296 1237 13	وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى And indeed he saw Him on another descent,
4796 2105 349 297 14	عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى At the ultimate point.
4797 2106 350 298 15	عِنْدَهَا جَنَّةُ الْمَأْوَى Where the eternal Garden exists.
4798 2107 351 299 16	إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى The ultimate place was completely overwhelmed.
4799 2108 352 300 1238 17	مَا زَاغَ الْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَى The eye never wavered, nor did it ever rebel.
4800 2109 353 301 18	لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى Indeed he saw, great signs from his Lord.
4801 2110 354 302 1239 19	أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ اللاتَ وَالْعُزَّى Have you looked at Allat. and Aluzza-
4802 2111 355 303 20	وَمَنَاةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الأخْرَى -and the third one, Manat?
4803 2112 356 304 21	أَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الأنْثَى Do you have males while He has females?
4804 2113 357 305 22	تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَى This is indeed an unjust distribution.
4805 2114 358 306 1638 1240 23	إِنْ هِيَ إِلا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الأنْفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِمُ الْهُدَى These are nothing but names that you have made up, you and your ancestors when God2412 never authorized it. They only guess and they only follow their desires when indeed guidance had come to them from their Lord.
4806 2115 359 307 24	أَمْ لِلإنْسَانِ مَا تَمَنَّى Does not the human being have what he desires?
4807 2116 360 308 1639 25	فَلِلَّهِ الآخِرَةُ وَالأولَى However, to God2413 belongs the Hereafter as well as this world.
4808 2117 361 309 1640 26	وَكَمْ مِنْ مَلَكٍ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ لا تُغْنِي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا إِلا مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ يَأْذَنَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَرْضَى And so many angels in the skies, their intercession will have no benefit in the least, except after God2414 has given permission for whomever He wills and approves.
4809 2118 362 310 27	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ الْمَلائِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ الأنْثَى Indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter, call the angels with feminine names.
